t family, fargo family photographer

I think one of the best parts of my job is meeting new families.  And this family, even from the little time I spent with them, is so very sweet, genuine and full of personality.  I discovered both of our oldest children go to the same school, are in the same grade however have different teachers.   They are blessed with three little ones that are pretty close in age.  And their story of becoming a family of five is very touching.  As many know getting three little ones to look at the camera smiling is no easy task!  While I may not have captured that I do feel like I did capture their little personalities. Besides baby girl did not find me too amusing.  Peek-a-boo? Really?  What else you got?

“how i view” literacy, fargo lifestyle photographer

Welcome to the April edition of “How I View” A monthly project I am working on with a group of talented photographers.  Each month we feature an interpretation of  a different theme.  Be sure to follow along to the talented Carol Holt!   This months topic was “literacy.”  The first thing I could think of was my daughter.  She is now approaching the end of kindergarten, tear and she is reading!  It has been so much fun to watch her skills slowly building.  Starting with sight words and mastering the sounds of each letter to reading short little handouts and now reading actual books.  I can see the excitement and confidence in her eyes.  She has a thirst to learn and soaks everything up.  It is simply amazing to watch.  And now a whole new world awaits her.

catching up on last fall, fargo couples photographer

Yay my first blog post on the new site! If you look at the very bottom of the page  I have social media links…only I haven’t linked them yet but will soon.

This was from way back in September.  I wanted to do a session for my parents. After all they are pretty spectacular people and do so much for our family.  It was something little I could do as a thank you.  I still need to set up a session for our other set of parents.  Fargo weather got in the way before we could fit it in.  This session took place on a beautiful fall morning in three different spots, their lake place, Maplewood State Park and Pelican Rapids, MN.  I absolutely love taking photos in that area and hope to set up more sessions at Maplewood State Park. So if you want to meet up there let me know!
